Pennsylvania’s ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park got a special treat when three GORGEOUS burrowing owlets hatched at the end of May.
The eggs came from the National Zoo in D.C. and ZooAmerica staffers hand-reared the darling babes.
The zoo hopes to introduce two of the owls to the Southwest while one stays behind to become a part of the zoo’s education programs.
Burrowing owls live in nests on the ground and they are active during the day, making unique within the owl family.
