Barack Obama tweeted a reply to the 65-year-old Olympian’s newly created Twitter account.

Ironically, Caitlyn amassed over a million Twitter followers in just four hours, breaking the record set by Obama last month.
It took the President five hours to reach that milestone.

June 1st has particular significance in the LGBT community, as it marks the beginning of Pride month.
It’s so great to see the highest-ranking official in the U.S. showing admiration for Caitlyn.
