With her celebrity, Caitlyn Jenner could have been such an amazing agent for change in the world. She certainly could have altered the perception of transgender people in the United States for the better.
Unfortunately, old habits die hard and bad habits even harder.

The former Olympian’s conservative beliefs, such as once being against same-sex marriage, have muddied any message she could have sent. And then she voted for Donald Trump.
While she may be disappointed with his presidency so far, that hasn’t encouraged the KUWTK star to keep her distance; she met with White House officials on Thursday, though the reason for her visit was kept rather vague. A rep confirmed:
“She was there for meetings and on her promo tour for her new book.”
Well, it doesn’t look like she got to speak to the POTUS because she took to Instagram to send him a public video message. Did she encourage Trump to take another look at LGBT rights? NOPE!
It was all about book promo!

Blegh.
To be fair, the book is somewhat about the trans experience, but we doubt this particular struggle is going to move anyone to action, least of all Drumpf or Jeff Sessions.
