Caitlyn Jenner may have had a HUGE summer last year with her Vanity Fair coming out party, but this summer is special in a different way!
This year marks the 40 anniversary of Caitlyn — Bruce Jenner at the time — claiming the Olympic gold in the decathlon and going down as a sports legend at the 1976 summer games.

As a result, Cait has landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated in a gold sequin jumpsuit sporting her XXI Olympiad Montreal 1976 medal around her neck — with a cover line that reads:
“Caitlyn Jenner as you know her now. Bruce Jenner as you never knew him then.”
The magazine, which hits newsstands on Wednesday, will take a look inside Jenner’s life both during the Olympics and since as the reality star dishes on athletic fame and how it has affected her transition as a transgender woman.
