
It seems like everyone had some learning to do in the Cam Newton controversy.
As we reported, the Carolina Panthers quarterback came under fire this week after he said it was “funny” to be asked about football strategy by female reporter Jourdan Rodrigue. He has since apologized for his remark (although not directly to Rodrigue).

It didn’t take long into the ordeal before the people of the Internet dug up dirt on the sportswriter — who sent out a series of racist tweets in 2012 and 2013 while she was in college.
The tweets read:

After these surfaced during the conflict with Cam, Jourdan took to Twitter to apologize, saying:

Do U think there should be any repercussions for Jourdan like there were for Cam?? Two wrongs don’t make a right.
