Cara Delevingne is ready to talk about those Amber Heard dating rumors!
Months after Amber filed for divorce from Johnny in 2016, she sparked romance rumors with the supermodel after they were seen hanging out frequently together. But if you asked the Pirates of the Caribbean actor? Their relationship started way before the breakup! In fact, his legal team tried to prove during the defamation lawsuit over her 2018 essay about an unnamed abusive ex that Amber not only cheated but had a “three-way affair” with Cara and Elon Musk!

A witness named Josh Drew, who is the ex-husband of the Aquaman star’s friend Raquel “Rocky” Pennington and reportedly lived rent-free at Johnny’s apartment building, claimed under oath that he heard from his ex-wife that Amber was having an affair with the the Suicide Squad actress while married to the Edward Scissorhands star. Not only that, but he alleged the two women were involved with Elon, whom Amber started dating in July 2016.
Her legal team called the infidelity claims “frivolous” at the time. Elon also insisted he has “never been intimate” with Cara. They are nothing more than friends, according to the Tesla founder. He then insisted he “only started going out” with Amber “about a month after her divorce filing,” and that they never slept together while she was married to Johnny.
For her part, Cara remained pretty silent on the whole situation for years! But she is now giving her side of the timeline! On Monday’s episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast, the host asked her about “the Johnny Depp thing” — AKA the affair claims! The Paper Towns star didn’t hesitate to explain, saying she was working on the film London Fields with Amber and Johnny before the divorce. Vanity Fair reports production on the film ran from 2013 to 2015, and it premiered three years later.
Cara swears nothing happened between Amber and her during the marriage, but she does say Johnny was “pretty driven crazy by jealousy.” That said, it’s true — she was romantically involved with Amber post-breakup from the Hollywood Vampires musician:
“Nothing was happening at that point. Later, after they divorced, it had, I suppose.”
The former Victoria’s Secret model shared that she and Amber were “close for a long time,” adding:
“Then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled.”
However, Cara made it clear that Amber was also “entangled with other people” back then. That’s when Louis mentioned “Elon.” To which she replied:
“There you go.”
Whoa!
