Cardi B Tweets & Deletes 'Wish I Was Dead' After Defending Herself From Rape Accusations

Cardi B indicted by grand jury

Cardi B is going through it right now — and we can only hope she’s in a place with plenty of emotional and mental support from OffsetKulture, and any other friends, family, and loved ones that she needs.

The Bodak Yellow rapper has had an eventful week on social media, especially over the last several days, where she’s been facing down accusations from critics who have been calling her a “rapist.” The accusations stem from earlier footage showing Cardi admitting to previously drugging & robbing men when she was a stripper — which, in and of itself, is pretty shocking.

Cardi took those allegations and accusations seriously this week, even if they were only from social media trolls — and it’s plain to see the “rapist” talk very emotionally affected her when she went on Instagram Live to discuss it on Friday (below):

Cardi, who said she was “not proud” of her previous actions while working as a stripper, clarified her past of apparently drugging & robbing men — but NOT raping them, she was quick to note.

The rapper said in part during the vieo (below):

“I have a past that I can’t change—we all do. I don’t like when people be trying to call me a rapist. I don’t like that s**t. Because people tried to dig up something and make it something that I didn’t do. I never touched nobody, I never fucked nobody, and rape is when you f**k somebody without their consent or without asking. Bitches don’t have to put shit in n***as’ drinks, these n***as be going to [the] club getting drunk and getting high. I never put shit in n***as’ drinks. Yeah, I went through n***as’ pockets. A lot of you bitches be going through n***as’ pockets for $40 to catch a cab ’cause a n***a don’t want to give you that. Same shit. Was I wrong for that? That was wrong, but I never fuckin’ hurt nobody.”

Wow!!!

Interesting to hear her open up about that, for one…

But Cardi apparently took so much heat in the comment section for it both during and immediately after the video, that it appeared to seriously affect her for quite a while.

Hours later, it appeared Cardi tweeted (and very quickly deleted) the following (below):

Whoa… That’s scary.

Here’s hoping that was a fleeting, frustrated moment and nothing more. Scary…
