But she just got cast in Cinderella on Broadway!!! She MUST still have some pull!
The pop singer’s star shot to fame after the massive success of Call Me Maybe, but only 20 fans showed up to her Cup of Warmth Campaign event at David’s Tea at Yorkdale Mall in Toronto on Monday!
OUCH.
While David’s advertised that with every cup of tea sold, one cup would be donated to local hunger relief shelters, it evidently wasn’t enough to draw a crowd.
Thankfully, she stayed professional and put on a happy face to pose with the few fans that did show, but that has got to hurt her ego!
So where’s the Carly love??!
Sadly, it seems like she may be yet another singer to fall victim the the one hit wonder curse!!!
