Caroline Kennedy is breaking her silence on Tatiana Schlossberg‘s tragic passing.
As you know, John F. Kennedy‘s granddaughter sadly died at just 35 years old back in December following a battle with cancer. The Kennedys and Schlossbergs have been pretty quiet following the devastating loss, but on Sunday, Caroline spoke onstage at the JFK Profile in Courage Award ceremony. She addressed Tatiana’s widower, George Moran, as well as his parents, Garrett and Mary, in her speech:
“This year, we even have new family members here. I am so happy to welcome Emma Shriver and Garrett and Mary Moran.”

The 68-year-old then got choked up as she spoke about her late daughter:
“Most of all, we remember Tatiana who served on the board of this library and represented everything my parents stood for in her beautiful, amazing, and too short life.”
So beautifully said. Watch for yourself at the 25:47 mark (below):
Just devastating. Our thoughts continue to be with everyone who loved Tatiana. Rest in peace.
