Caroline Kennedy Drops Out Of The Race!

JFK‘s daughter, Caroline Kennedy, has taken her name out of consideration to replace newly appointed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as Senator of New York.

Kennedy informed New York Governor David Paterson on Wednesday, and she is expected to make an official announcement shortly.

No cause has been given yet for her removal, but The New York Times claims that Caroline was concerned about her uncle Ted Kennedy‘s health and decided not to take on the job of Senator after he became ill again this week.

Uhmm, that may be true and all, but it’s not likely the real reason!

According to polling data, Caroline was not a favorite of the people of New York and she gave many shiteous TV interviews. Plus, it had been revealed that she had a less than sterling voting record and didn’t even donate that regularly to her party, the Democrats.

Hillary’s successor is chosen by the Governor of New York. And, the main theory floating around is that Gov. Patterson informed Kennedy that she wasn’t going to get the appointment and offered her the opportunity to remove herself from the race as a way of bowing out gracefully.

The current frontrunner for the Senatorship is NY Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.

May the best man or woman get the job!
