A few weeks ago, Carrie Fisher went cray cray with a bipolar episode while she was performing on the Holland America Eurodam, and after her mama, Debbie Reynolds spoke up on her behalf, the 56-year-old actress is finally sharing her side of the story.
While everyone thought that Miz Fisher was on drugs and alcohol and was having a MAJOR breakdown during her performance, the starlet admitted that her behavior was horrible, she said:
“I know it got bad. I was in a very severe manic state, which bordered on psychosis. Certainly delusional. I wasn’t clear what was going on. I was just trying to survive. I was in big trouble.
I wasn’t drunk. I needed to be there in the hospital. The only lesson for me or anybody is that you have to get help. It’s not a neat illness. It doesn’t go away.”
Even though Carrie may experience another one of her moments, we’re just happy that she’s back to normal.
The actress is currently resting it up at home.
Get better guuurl!!
