Last night, Carrie Fisher appeared on Piers Morgan Tonight to talk about the passing of her stepmother, Elizabeth Taylor. When Liz married Carrie’s father, Eddie Fisher, Carrie was only three years old. Liz and Eddie divorced only after a few years together, but Carrie still maintained a relationship with her after the split.
In remembering her friend, Carrie spoke of her kindness and warmth and Carrie’s own sadness over losing such an important person in her life. Then, she tells this great story about going on a “double date” with Liz, Shirley MacLaine…and Michael Jackson!
