Carrie Underwood’s career has skyrocketed as a result of American Idol, so it seems like she would be the PERFECT contestant to return as a judge!!
Apparently the higher-ups at Idol don’t feel the same way, because they didn’t even ASK to see if she’d consider the job!
Thankfully, Carrie’s too busy to feel slighted anyway. In a red carpet interview at the CMT Music Awards, she said:
“I haven’t been asked. My world’s pretty busy. I have The Sound of Music this fall so even if they did ask I’d be like, ‘Eh, I don’t know. I don’t think that would work. But who would know better than people who had already been through it all?”
See?? SHE even knows she’d be a great candidate!!!
No wonder those AI executive producers were fired!!
Hopefully the new producers will provide us with some AH-mazing judge picks!!!
