Carrie Underwood returned to the place where it all began. Heading back to American Idol last night, the country singer and 6 time Grammy Award winner performed her new single See You Again.

Carrie first performed for American Idol judges back in 2004 on the show’s fourth season. At the time, she’d never even been on a plane! It’s safe to say this lady has come a long way! How many planes has she been on by now, d’you think?
With American Idol ratings at an all time low, we can’t help but wonder if this is a ploy to boost ratings. Either way, Carrie’s performance was stellar as usual! And did we mention how stunning she looked in that peach dress?!
