Carson Daly is the first late night talk show host to resume production since the writers’ strike has begun!

The Last Call host begins shooting new episodes this week, which are set to begin airing next week.

All the other hosts – Leno, Letterman, etc. – have opted to air repeats rather than cross the picket line.

The strike remains in effect but talks between the writers and the media moguls resumed on Monday, after four weeks of a standstill. Negotiations are said to be going well.

No word on whether or not the other late night hosts will follow Daly’s lead.
