This is strange.
Jeff Ashton, the man who prosecuted Casey Anthony for murder and lost, is running for Orange Osceola State Attorney and recently sent an e-mail to the lead defense attorney of Casey Anthony, Jose Baez, for donations. What???!!!
The e-mail was obviously part of a mass e-mail chain as it made no mention of the Anthony trial at all.
After losing to Baez in the Anthony trial, Ashton ridiculed Baez to the press and said he was a “liar,” “smarmy,” and a “consummate salesman.”
Really?
Do U think Baez will donate money to Ashton’s campaign after Ashton trashed him like that?
We don’t think so, but hey, anything is possible.
