Casey Kasem, the legendary radio host of American Top 40 and former voice of Scooby-Doo’s Shaggy, is missing!
No one knows his exact whereabouts! What makes it worse is that he’s in a very poor medical condition due to his worsening Parkinson’s disease.
There’s been an ongoing back and forth and back and forth between Casey’s children and their stepmom.
Apparently his wife has been keeping his children from seeing him even though his health is failing! His Parkinson’s has taken away his ability to speak. So sad.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered an investigation into just where exactly the 82-year-old Parkinson’s patient is, but an attorney representing Kasem’s wife Jean Kasem told the judge that Kasem was out of the country but he couldn’t mention any specifics, saying only:
“I have no idea where he is.”
Kasem’s daughter Kerri has accused stepmom Jean of elder abuse because she’s keeping him from his family and moving him to different hospitals without telling anyone.
The judge appointed a doctors to Kasem’s care so hopefully they’ll find him and make sure he’s not suffering any sort of abuse.
We really hope they find him! His family is in our hearts and thoughts.
