Cassie just had to relieve another one of her worst traumas while on the stand at the Diddy trial.
The singer has been getting incredibly vulnerable while sharing the heartbreaking details of her allegedly abusive relationship with the rapper. During day three of the trial on Wednesday, she shared one of the most disgusting things Puff ever did to her — as they were splitting!

Cassie recalled meeting up with Diddy for dinner as their nearly 10-year-long romance was coming to an end in 2018. She’d heard rumors Sean Combs was dating another woman at the time, and she’d just started seeing her now-husband Alex Fine (who has been supporting her in court). So, in her mind, it was pretty much all over when they got together for a “closure” meal at a restaurant in Malibu, California, she shared, per NBC News:
“We were having a closure conversation and went out to dinner at a restaurant in Malibu. He was really nice. Playful, laughing, romantic vibes. It ended with him bringing me home.”
But this allegedly wasn’t just a gentlemanly move to get her home safe. No, it was much, much worse. The dynamic completely shifted once they got back to her apartment, she shared:
“I went inside, he came in and raped me on the living room floor. I remember crying and saying no. It was fast. His eyes were black. He wasn’t himself.”
Awful…
The performer went on to testify that after the horrific assault, the 55-year-old simply got up and left. Jeez. The 38-year-old also said they were voluntarily intimate with each other one more time after this, at a friend’s birthday celebration, explaining that because they’d been dating for so long, their connection didn’t shut off immediately.
The R&B artist first went public with this allegation in November 2023 when she filed a lawsuit against the musician, noting that P. Diddy “forced himself into her apartment,” started kissing her, and “forcibly pulled off [her] clothing and unbuckled his belt” after she told him to stop and “attempted to push him away.”
At the time, he denied all her allegations, though as we all know, they quickly settled for $20 million. At least she got some justice for this alleged violence…
