Even Cate Blanchett can get it wrong sometimes!
The actress was a style winner at the Golden Globes last night, but a day before, at the BAFTA LA awards season tea party, she was definitely not in her best shape, fashion-wise.
Choosing a belted, red Michael Kors shirtdress for the occasion, Cate was certainly event-appropriate, but ultimately too matronly for our taste.
And instead of spicing up the ensemble, her blue python Christian Louboutin pumps were overtly trendy for such a dowdy frock.
At least she has a plethora of opportunities to improve on this! And actually already did at the Globes!
