Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are on cloud nine!!
During Monday night’s episode of Teen Mom OG, the lovebirds happily told their parents that they’re welcoming another addition to their brood. As you likely saw, during last week’s showing of the MTV hit, Catelynn broke the pregnancy news to a completely shocked Tyler.

Well, the twosome got another shocked reaction as Lowell’s mother April almost couldn’t believe it when she learned the pair was going to have a third child. In case you forgot, Mr. and Mrs. Baltierra are parents to 3-year-old daughter Novalee Reign AND are also the biological parents to 8-year-old Carly, whom they gave up for adoption.
So how did they break the news to April?? They let the grandmother discover the update by unfolding little Nova’s “I’m going to be a big sister” sweatshirt. Amid tears, April asked:
“Are you serious? Really.”
Catelynn confirmed the news and added:
“I am! I swear to God! Hopefully, it’s a grand-boy.”
Lowell’s momma went on to clarify that she’ll be happy with either a boy or girl grandbaby, and even joked that maybe Catelynn’s carrying twins! The 25-year-old later noted that her unborn little one would be a “summer baby.”
On a separate occasion, Catelynn and Tyler told the latter’s father Butch the happy news. Tyler’s poppa seemed please, but asked a couple of important questions:
“What if it’s a girl? Are you going to keep trying for a boy? Rock it out, baby.”
LOLz. It’s tender moments like these that make Teen Mom OG a hit for MTV.
Other episode highlights included Farrah Abraham confronting mom Debra over inviting Jenelle Evans‘ ex husband Courtland Rogers (who is a COMPLETE STRANGER) to the wedding, Maci Bookout feuding with baby daddy Ryan Edwards over a trick-or-treat schedule, and Amber Portwood fighting with boyfriend Andrew Glennon over anything pregnancy related.
