Farrah Abraham Calls Bristol Palin A ‘Single White Female’ & SLAMS ‘Teen Mom OG’ Casting

'Single White Female'

Farrah Abraham Continues To Shade New 'Teen Mom OG' Cast

Farrah Abraham really doesn’t care for her new Teen Mom OG replacement.

Since newcomer Bristol Palin took her spot on the hit MTV franchise, Abraham has been pretty vocal about her feelings about the 27-year-old, along with fellow newcomer Cheyenne Floyd.

The entertainer let it all out during an interview with SiriusXM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show on Monday, telling listeners why she’s not on board with the network’s latest casting:

“I would say it’s not appropriate for both Bristol and the other woman who has joined. I would say it’s inappropriate. When you’ve been watching a show and you know what it’s about, hovering around for so long, I don’t think that’s authentic to what the show is about.”

According to Abraham, Palin and Floyd are “Teen Mom groupies” who didn’t go through the same vetting process that she and others did:

“All of these women were asked, ‘Have you watched this show? Are you fans?’ If other women were found to be fans or have watched, they were not be allowed to be selected.”

She even made a bold accusation that Cheyenne and ex Cory Wharton reportedly had a child just to be on the show!

“I see that Cheyenne and this other person who has been on MTV definitely collaborated and had a child and knew that there had been a space opening to be on Teen Mom. Bristol, she’s been around. She’s been to public speaking engagements with Maci [Bookout] and so I really feel like they’re in the same category of those women who were chosen not to be on the show because they were Teen Mom fans. That’s the reason why I say what I say. It’s kind of a sad case.”

The reality TV starlet also threw in some shade about the ratings not being the same since she left, so we’re going to take this all with a grain of salt.

The tea is hot this morning guys…

Bristol Palin, Dakota Meyer Talk Divorce & ‘Becoming Cold’ On ‘Teen Mom OG’

Better Off Alone

Bristol Palin & Dakota Meyer Open Up About Their Divorce

Bristol Palin and now ex-husband Dakota Meyer are opening up about their divorce.

As you know, news of the Teen Mom OG couple’s split was made public after Palin called herself “freshly divorced & single” on Instagram.

But a new clip from this season, shot before the divorce was finalized, gives us more insight on why things turned ‘cold’ for these two.

In the emotional clip, Bristol tells Dakota, “we’re both unhappy.”

She continues:

“I was a single mom for a long time, but being married, I’m more lonely now than I’ve ever been. And I know that he’s probably more lonely now than he’s ever been. I think that we don’t know how to coexist together at all.”

The 27-year-old admits that although Meyer’s PTSD and anxiety from serving in Afghanistan have put a strain on their relationship, she isn’t without blame:

“I fully take responsibility of becoming cold. And I am sorry. I’m sorry that I’m that way.

I don’t think that you deserve to have a wife that’s that way, and I want you to have a sense of peace. But I think a divorce is the best thing for our kids. … I do feel like we are better people when we’re not together.”

Meyer tells the his ex-wife and the camera:

“Obviously Bristol doesn’t want to be together anymore, and for me I guess I just get that same feeling that I do with my teammates is that I’ve failed again and I’m helpless again. And that’s the hard part of it is because I know where my heart is for her. I know that I love her and I know that I give her my everything.”

The couple share two daughters together: Sailor, 2 and Atlee, 16 months, who no doubt will be affected by the split.

'Teen Mom OG' Alum Ryan Edwards Has Reportedly Checked Himself In For Treatment Again

Wishing the best for Teen Mom OG alum Ryan Edwards, and his wife Mackenzie Standifer Edwards!

Ryan, 30, is allegedly back in rehab for the second time this year according to media reports that first surfaced yesterday — and it’s apparently highly likely that he’ll miss the forthcoming birth of his son with Mackenzie due to his treatment right now.

Radar Online and others are reporting that Edwards allegedly checked into rehab again very recently, even despite the fact that he’s expecting his second child in a few days’ time.

This is Edwards’ second try at rehab, of course, after he first checked in for heroin abuse treatment back in May. He was later arrested at his home in Tennessee back in July and charged with simple heroin possession there, too.

But now, with a baby coming, it appears he’s ready to give rehab another try.

We can only hope things work out this time, and Ryan wins his long-standing battle with addiction! Thinking good thoughts for that entire family!!

Tyler Baltierra Admits ‘Resentment’ For Catelynn Lowell In Shocking ‘Teen Mom OG’ Premiere

'Teen Mom' Drama!

Tyler Baltierra Gets Real About Resenting Catelynn Lowell In Season Premiere

Teen Mom OG is back again after Monday night’s new season premiere on MTV, and from what we saw, there’s already more drama than ever!!

The premiere picks right up where last season left off, and the big story here is Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell dealing with her stay in rehab while the dad is back at home watching Nova.

Related: Catelynn Reacts To Teen Mom OG Teaser…

It’s interesting (and heartbreaking) to watch Tyler’s resentment and bitterness grow in Catelynn’s absence, honestly, and the star is surprisingly open about his concerns that he may actually be losing empathy for Lowell during the tough situation.

At one point, he admits some of his resentment to a therapist, saying (below):

“I also felt like as a husband we should have discussed this as a family before you just packed your bags and went. There was no consideration I guess, but that’s just how it is.”

He even admits that he “hasn’t been happy for a couple of years” in the current situation with Catelynn, no doubt adding fuel to the fire during what we know has been a very difficult time for the pair.

These two have always been remarkably good about discussing and acknowledging their emotions and feelings, even in tough situations like this, despite coming from their own family situations and backgrounds…

But will rehab, a pregnancy, and the new season of the show prove too much for them?!

Honestly… so interested to find out more. MTV will air new Teen Mom OG episodes every Monday at 9:00 p.m. ET for us all to find out.

Oh, and P.S. — Bristol Palin made her Teen Mom debut last night, and fans watched her deal with husband Dakota‘s post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms from his time in the service. Heavy stuff!

Catelynn Lowell Reacts To ‘Teen Mom OG’ Marriage Problems Tease

No Divorce!

Catelynn Lowell Explains 'Teen Mom' Marriage Problems Tease

Based on the preview of next Monday’s Teen Mom OG season premiere, things are not so picture perfect for Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra as they seem on Instagram.

Tyler even says at one point they aren’t in a great place! Eesh!

Related: Catelynn Shares Sonogram

Well, UsWeekly got Catelynn’s take on the upcoming season, and she said:

“I lived it, I’m not going to watch it.”

Ha! Fair enough. On her actual relationship problems, she says:

“I feel like every couple goes through bumps in the road, especially as you’re growing up together like me and Ty have. I mean, we’ve been together 13 years now and married for three, so we’ve grown up together. I feel like, as people, you grow up and you change in certain ways, and it’s all about learning how to process that with your significant other and how do you go from there or how you change things.”

She wants to assure people they are NOT getting a divorce!

“It’s not like we’re in the gutter or we’re getting a divorce like everybody says. Couples go through ups and downs, just like any relationship, even friendships, family, you know, and it’s all about how you work through things.”

Those things they’ve had to work through include adoption, postpartum depression, distance. Catelynn details:

“What I went through put a lot of strain on a relationship, especially leaving him and him having to be a single dad for so long and running a business on his own. I have a lot of sympathy for what I put him through. I think that’s put a lot of stress on our relationship. Right now, we’re hitting a couple bumps that need to be worked through.”

Awww. It’s like they say, this too shall pass. Right?

Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood, vets of MTV‘s hit show shared with US Weekly their thoughts about meeting new costars Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd.

Maci, momma of three, shared things are “going really well, actually.”

“I felt like the media may have put certain tones out there that we weren’t happy about them coming on or happy with them, and I was kind of worried that they would believe that. But I mean honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. It was nice to enjoy working with everyone.”

Catelynn, is expecting baby number three with hubby Tyler Baltierra, and had no shame in sharing that “anybody’s better than Farrah [Abraham].” Yikes!

Former OG Farrah Abraham cut ties with the series over her adult film career, with Cheyenne and Bristol taking her place.

Amber admits she was definitely a little apprehensive about the new costars joining the tight-knit crew:

“We didn’t really know what to expect. We were kind of like, ‘Oh we’re the OGs.’ … We just kind of felt like we were thrown into something and we had no clue what was going to happen.”

Pregnant Catelynn Lowell Believes She Was ‘Meant’ To Have Her Traumatic Miscarriage

‘I’m Not Depressed’

Catelynn Lowell Won’t Let Mental Illness Stop Her From Having More Kids!

Catelynn Lowell isn’t about to let her history with postpartum depression prevent her from having more kids.

After announcing that she and husband Tyler Baltierra are expecting another baby, the Teen Mom OG star admitted that the thought of again battling a severe form of clinical depression made her nervous.

But Cate’s willing to cope if it means having more children. She explained to Us Weekly:

“I’m not gonna let that hold me back from the one of the most beautiful things in life, which is children. I just have to continue therapy and work through it.”

The 26-year-old has been taking it day by day ever since she returned from treatment in February, which she entered after battling suicidal thoughts from trauma.

Now, the reality star says she’s stronger thanks to her past struggles and is handling this surprise pregnancy with ease. She explained:

“The last time I got pregnant I had really bad anxiety. With this pregnancy it’s completely different. I’m not anxious. I’m not depressed. I’m actually in a really good mental state with this one. The treatment I had really helped with that. I feel like everything happens for a reason. God puts certain things in your life for a reason and takes certain things away for a reason.”

That includes, as Cate sees it, something as traumatic as a miscarriage:

“As devastating as the miscarriage was, I really feel like I’ve worked with my counselor. I really believe in my heart that I was meant to have that miscarriage because I spiraled so hard that it forced me to go to a place where I really had to dig into my childhood traumas and things like that that I have not really dug in before. I really think that it was a push to really work harder on things that I really wasn’t working on even though it was a sad and emotional thing. I really think that that baby was meant to leave so that way I was meant to really dig deeper on my wounds from my childhood.”

Cate added that her 26-year-old husband has also “been going to therapy for a really long time” and is working on himself mentally and emotionally. For her though, the biggest hurdle was finding the right person to talk to:

“It took me a while to really find like a good therapist that I wanted. I kind of slacked on that for a while, but I’ve got a really good therapist who I really like now, so I’m just sticking to seeing a psychologist once a month and also I’m seeing my counselor once a week. She’s a trauma therapist, so I know that a lot of my anxiety comes from, like, my trauma from my childhood, so it’s really taking it all out.”

The new season of Teen Mom OG picks up with Catelynn’s return home after seeking treatment for depression. Watch the premiere October 1 at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.

‘Teen Mom OG’s Maci Bookout Says Ryan Edwards’ Relationship With Their Son Has ‘Gotten Healthier’

Momma Knows Best

'Teen Mom OG' Star Maci Bookout Is ‘Honest’ About Her Ryan Edwards Drama With Their Son

When it comes to her ex Ryan Edwards, Maci Bookout is explaining the messy, restraining order-filled situation to their son openly and honestly.

The Teen Mom OG star revealed that her nine-year-old Bentley still has a relationship with his father after Edwards’ multiple arrests in connection to a previous heroin charge

Earlier this year, Bookout and her new husband Taylor McKinney — as well as their two children, Jayde, 3, and Maverick, 2 — were granted a two-year restraining order against Edwards.

Photo: Catelynn Lowell Shares Sonogram

In an interview with Us WeeklyBookout said that being honest about the family drama with Bentley was actually the best thing for both him and his father, and has even made their relationship “healthier.” She explained:

“Bentley has gotten older and is kind of understanding a little bit more about what’s going on. I don’t want to say they’ve gotten closer, but I think that it’s gotten healthier only because I think it relieves some of the pressure from each of them. Bentley was a child, like, wondering what’s really going on. I think if the right steps are taken from here, then it will end up good.”

Honesty is the key to any healthy relationship!

The 27-year-old momma explained that she wanted to be honest with her son because she wants him to feel comfortable doing the same, continuing:

“You don’t want to smother them, but you also want to make sure that they come to you with anything that they’re thinking or feeling or any questions that they may want answers to. It’s really just a matter of keeping the line of communication open and also making sure that we aren’t telling too much or giving too much of our feelings or opinions. It’s more about information, rather than speaking about his dad because at the end of the day, Ryan is still his dad. Neither one of us want to ever put some sort of barrier between the possibility of a better relationship when it comes to Ryan and Bentley.”

After all, it all comes back to the health of the children. She added:

“We’ve all been through the ringer in the last couple years, but we’re still coparenting with them. Sometimes we don’t always agree, and we may not be very happy with each other, but at the same time we all respect each other and appreciate our goal… we don’t let our feelings get in the way of what’s important and the relationships that are necessary for Bentley to have.”

See how Bookout’s parenting tactics unfold when season 8 of Teen Mom OG premieres on MTV October 1, at 9 p.m. EST.
