CBS may have renewed an impressive 18 series early last month, but that clearly didn’t mean that everything on its current roster would be safe from cancelation!
Even a show that we would have NEVER anticipated getting the boot!
While no one expected freshmen series Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, and NYC 22 to survive past upfronts this year, CSI: Miami has just been confirmed to be joining them all in the network’s graveyard after ten years!
According to a statement from CBS:
“CSI: Miami” leaves an amazing television legacy – a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS’s rise to the top over the past decade. We thank all the producers – led by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ann Donahue — and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for 10 outstanding seasons. Viewers around the world will continue to enjoy rebroadcasts of “CSI: Miami” in syndication and on key digital platforms for many years to come.”
Wow!
So we guess CSI: NY will live to see another day season!
Well, you had a good run, David Caruso!
And we’re sure it won’t just be Saturday Night Live that will be missing you this coming fall!
