David Letterman may be leaving CBS, but it would seem that despite some rumors that Craig Ferguson may be getting the axe (in lieu of Chelsea Handler perhaps), but it looks like our favorite Scot is here to stay.
Well, maybe.
In a recent interview, CBS Entertainment chairman Nina Tassler evaded the question somewhat:
“We had an 11:30pm issue – that was our first order of business. Obviously, as much as we knew that this day would come with Dave, Craig is here and doing his show at 12:30am, and we love having him there.”
However, she did mention that CBS was “huge fans” of his, but anything other than an outright denial leaves a lot to be interpreted.
This is probably the best we’re going to get though, with reports that CBS is looking to change up more of their late night landscape!
Time will tell what happens to 12:30 a.m.!
