Star-Studded Funeral Procession For Late Rapper Heavy D

Many stars and friends of late Heavy D were in attendence to grieve the loss of the rapper during his funeral.
As reported earlier, President Barack Obama sent his condelences to family of Heavy D, where were read during the service led by Reverend Al Sharpton.
The long list of stars in attendence included Will Smith, Jay-Z, Queen LatifahUsher, Q-Tip, John Legend, and Rosie Perez among others.
Diddy also gave a humorous and heartfelt eulogy as well.
Heavy D was interred in his hometown of Mount Vernon, NY, which is also Diddy’s birthplace. The mogul went on to say the following about his friend’s death:

He became my friend. He became my brother, and I’m not talking about friend-brother like we cavalierly use the word, I’m talking about a real friend, a real brother. Somebody I shared my dreams and my secrets with, somebody that’s been there for me at my lowest point, my darkest hour when nobody wanted to be beside me.

Johnny Gill, Anthony Hamilton, and Yolanda Adams performed gospels as well.
A fund has also been setup to support the late rapper’s daughter.
