Charlie Hunnam Says There Was A 'Real Distance' Between Him & Robert Pattinson While Filming The Lost City Of Z

Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson
Well… it definitely doesn’t sound like we have another Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal on our hands!
While at the Berlin Film Festival, Charlie Hunnam opened up about the “real distance” between him and Robert Pattinson while filming The Lost City of Z.
Speaking to Screen Daily, the Sons of Anarchy star said of his relationship with his costars:

“I had a couple of rehearsal sessions with Sienna [Miller], but I didn’t spend any time with Tom [Holland] or Robert.”

Adding:

“I wanted these relationships to evolve naturally on screen, through the work. I don’t think I said more than ten words to Robert off camera. I didn’t know if he was just ├óΓé¼╦£in that zone’ or if he genuinely didn’t like me. There was a real distance between us.”

Sadsies!
But despite the lack of connection off screen, Hunnam says the actors did have “right dynamic on screen.”
To be fair, the Twilight star very well could have been focused on his role, because the 36-year-old actor later admitted that Robert has reached out since wrapping the film:

“He’s reached out to me subsequently, making overtures for us to be friends now. So I think it was about the work.”

What a relief! LOLz!
