Well, stranger things HAVE happened, but we have to admit: this is definitely one for the books!
It seems like only yesterday Charlie Sheen was having a Goddess and Tiger Blood-infused public meltdown while in all-out war with Chuck Lorre and CBS over his firing from Two and a Half Men, but somehow, the actor has done his best version of a complete 180!
And while he’s still apparently drinking, he has come to realize that his whole ‘winning’ spiel was anything but that!
He explains:
“Clearly, a guy gets fired, his relationships are in the toilet, he’s off on some f*cking tour, there’s nothing ‘winning’ about any of that. I mean, how does a guy who’s obviously quicksanded, how does he consider any of it a victory? I was in total denial. I mean, [alcohol] the sh*t works. Sorry, but it works. Anyway, I don’t see what’s wrong with a few drinks. What’s your drink? Tequila? Mine’s vodka.”
Well, whether he’s drinking or not, we’re just glad that he’s sounding like himself again!
And beyond that, like someone who is acknowledging his past mistakes and taking steps to make amends!
