Brooke Mueller has a bone to pick with Denise Richards!
Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wives have been tight over the years despite — or perhaps thanks to — their failed romances with the same man. But after some reality TV beef, their friendship is on an unexpected pause!

Speaking to People on Thursday, Brooke revealed she’s really upset with Denise after getting, as “signficantly cut out” of her new Bravo show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things! Talking frankly about the current dynamic after the show premiered earlier this month, she dished:
“Denise and I have a little strain right now going on.”
Oof!
While the duo usually have a “sister-like” bond, Brooke is no longer feeling the love after she was mostly removed from the episodes in which she guest-starred. And now she’s supposedly getting ghosted by Denise, who isn’t answering her texts or calls. Jeez!! She explained:
“When I see the episode[s], I’m not even really in it. And so I don’t know if she knows that I was significantly cut out and there’s that tension, or if she’s just really busy. … I have been trying to get a hold of her. We’re having a sister moment.”
Brooke also claimed she “wasn’t paid a dollar” for her appearances on the show, which included an episode on the death of her pet lizard, Godzilla:
“We shot two days of episodes on [a memorial for] for Godzilla that she was babysitting for six months when I was in treatment. And there was an accident, and he had gotten into something. It’s not [Richards’] fault. I had him for 30 years. He was almost six feet and an endangered species, no joke. Unfortunately, the fact that he died does land on me because I wasn’t there and able to properly even give them notice to [tell them] how and what [to do].”
She pointed out:
“What frustrates me is that all the headlines will say — ‘Denise Richards rescues Brooke’s reptile dropped off at her house, abandoned.’ And that’s not the real truth.”

The Strictly Sexual star was also caught off guard when Denise and Charlie’s two daughters, Sami, 21, and Lola, 19, claimed they didn’t know she’d married their father after his divorce from their mom. Huh?? Brooke and Charlie were married from 2008 to 2011 and welcomed twin sons Bob and Max, now 16. Her sons and former stepdaughters “always call each other brother and sister,” so she’s confused. She remarked:
“Their daughters say they didn’t know I was married to Charlie, [it] defies logic. […] I mean I guess they could have thought that for some reason we only had kids together, but …I don’t get it.”
But while they may be in a rough patch now, not all hope is lost! Brooke is still really fortunate for her friendship with the actress, who has been there in tough times, such as amid her struggles with addiction:
“I would say in the beginning, Denise and I were fast friends and we kind of have a trauma bond, if you will. We’re almost like sisters, so there is sometimes some internal fighting. It’s not always rosy.”
The 47-year-old, who is newly sober, said:
“Denise has been the one, at the end of the day, no matter how messed up I’ve been, she’s been the one trying to help me get off wherever I’m at. She’ll go ahead and even look at houses for me to rent when I’m in treatment. So right now, we’re just having a sister moment, and in fact, there’s ways in which the bigger, more important things in life, she’s always been there for me, always.”
The fact she’s calling it a “sister moment” expresses the kind of love she still has for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star despite upsetting times like this! Hopefully, they can sort out this rift!
