Nothing says ‘come party with me a New York Fashion Week‘ like a big bash sponsored by rehab!
Wait, what?
On September 7th, Samantha Ronson‘s designer twin sister, Charlotte, will show her S/S 2013 collection at Lincoln Center and throw an after party co-sponsored by two rehabilitation centers.
Ummm, soooo, how does this work?!
It turns out, Ronson knows Cygalle Dias, owner of the Cygalle Healing Spa, who is collaborating with BDR for some other events during NYFW.
Per Wickstrom, Best Drug Rehabilitation’s owner, said of the random pairing:
“We don├óΓé¼Γäót want [people to think] we├óΓé¼Γäóre out there trying to find the drug addicts. That├óΓé¼Γäós the farthest thing from our minds. But if someone comes up to us and says, ├óΓé¼╦£Hey can you help me?├óΓé¼Γäó [We will]. We want to offer people in these high-stress environments an alternative holistic methodology to get rid of some of their toxins.”
Sounds noble, but we can’t imagine many too many party-goers wanting to rage at a rehab-sponsored party unless they’re in Vegas.
