During Chelsea Handler‘s recent interview with Rosie, the comedian opened up about the abortion she decided to have at age 16.
Chelsea told Rosie that she thought she was ready to be a teen mom, but luckily, her parents were able to knock some sense into her.
She explains:
“I got pregnant when I was 16… and I was so delusional. I was like, ‘I├óΓé¼Γäóm ready for a baby.’ I don├óΓé¼Γäót remember exactly what happened, but they were like, ├óΓé¼╦£’You├óΓé¼Γäóre getting an abortion.’ I was trying to argue with them, and they said, ‘You don├óΓé¼Γäót understand. You├óΓé¼Γäóre throwing your entire life away. You├óΓé¼Γäóre not having a child right now.'”
Whether or not she has any regrets today, Chelsea replied:
“You should do whatever you want with your body, and you shouldn├óΓé¼Γäót let anyone tell you what to do. It├óΓé¼Γäós your decision, and I have no regret at all.”
Very honest. We’re sure a lot of women can relate.
