The Don’t Judge Me singer just got judged. HARD.
Chris Brown went in front of an honorable robed dude in an El Lay courtroom today and the judge threw the book at him!
Like, hard enough to give him a figurative concussion!
CB, an inmate of the state already, admitted to being involved in a recent altercation, which apparently royally pissed the judge off!
So Breezy was in fact sentenced to spend a YEAR behind bars for a violation of the terms of his probation stemming from the 2009 assault of then girlfriend Rihanna. AN ENTIRE YEAR! Time enough for the Earth to revolve around the whole dang Sun!
But the legal system is never quite that simple…
He’s already spent a considerable amount of time in prison and rehab. That counts as time served and gets applied toward his sentence.
Lawyers trained in subtraction have thus determined that the young performer now only has 131 days left on his sentence. Still, that’s a long time. Over four months!! Not only will Chris be locked up for Mothers’ Day, but he’ll be stuck behind bars on the Fourth of July, too!
And we don’t imagine there are a lot of fireworks in prison! Well, not the good kind!
Sources do admit, however, that the overcrowded nature of the California prison system could mean that he’s released even earlier, but only time will tell.
Keep in mind, this could all be just the tip of the iceberg that is Chris’ legal woes. He still hasn’t even stood trial yet for his alleged involvement in that D.C. assault.
