Chris Hemsworth couldn’t be happier with how little brother Liam Hemsworth has moved on from his huge split from Miley Cyrus!
The Marvel star made that clear when he seemingly addressed the former couple’s divorce in a recent interview with News.com.au. While he didn’t exactly call the Wrecking Ball singer out by name, his subtle reference to a major part of her relationship with the Hunger Games star told us everything we need to know about his feelings towards his former sister-in-law!

While discussing the Hemsworth brothers’ famously toned physiques (that includes Luke Hemsworth, too!), Chris joked that Liam is now the fittest of the trio and cited his recent feature in Men’s Health Australia as picture proof!
“I think he’s done it. Did you see the Men’s Health cover? I thought, ‘Not bad kid. Not bad.'”

When the interviewer asked how Liam surpassed the 36-year-old brother’s equally shredded body, Chris credited his recent move back to the Land Down Under with helping him get in shape:
“He’s out there training and staying fit and back in Australia doing his thing. It’s Australian living, I guess. We got him out of Malibu!”
There it is!! Malibu… as in the location where Cyrus and the Killerman star lived together since rekindling their romance in 2017? As in, the sunny, El Lay neighborhood that inspired Miley’s romantic ballad of the same name about their on-again-off-again relationship? Yep, that Malibu.
As you may recall, the pair’s beachside residence burned down during the Woolsey Fire in 2018 and Miley told Vanity Fair in February 2019 that event is what sparked them to finally tie the knot after over a decade of dating:
“What Liam and I went through together changed us. I’m not sure without losing Malibu, we would’ve been ready to take this step or ever even gotten married, who can say? But the timing felt right and I go with my heart. No one is promised the next day, or the next, so I try to be ‘in the now’ as much as possible.”
Unfortunately, the two called it quits just six months later in August. Cyrus moved on to a brief fling with Kaitlynn Carter before settling into her current romance with Cody Simpson.
Prior to this point, Chris’s wife Elsa Pataky was the only member of the Hemsworth family to openly voice how she felt about the big breakup. Back when the split was still fresh, she said:
“My brother-in-law, well…after a relationship that you’ve dedicated 10 years to, he’s a little bit down, but he’s coping well. He’s a strong boy and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much better.”
Sounds like he looks better and found better (sorry, girl) after all!
