We first heard about the fledgling couple feeling each other out on a picnic date in mid-June, but according to a new source they’ve “gotten serious, quickly!”

An insider tells ET:
“[They] went from casually dating to spending much more time together. Chris and Katherine have introduced one another to their family and friends, and have been almost inseparable when they are free.”
We’re so happy for Chris! He really seemed totally heartbroken over the surprising split with Anna Faris last year.
So what is serious exactly?
As we’ve seen, Katherine seems to be getting along with the Marvel star’s son, Jack.
The new source confirms what we’ve been saying — that kind of “quality time” is a huge deal for a single dad!
“That was a big step for Chris. Until he knew it was more than just casual, he wasn’t introducing Jack to anyone. Chris and Katherine are very happy together.”
