Oh man, what we wouldn’t give to have been a fly on the wall when Melania Trump saw what Chrissy Teigen was saying about her!
In case you missed it, Chrissy got drunk on Tuesday and posted a Twitter rant calling out Donald Trump‘s third wife for her almost total silence during the global pandemic, saying the nation could use some strength and reassurance — a role often filled by the First Lady but not by this “wifebot.” She wrote:
“ALL I have seen this bot do is gently touch Christmas ornaments in a cape and stare in a cape and pat statues in a different cape and then change her cape into a rude ass jacket. F**k you”
Oh man, Melania must have been SO PISSED! What else would explain the otherwise ineffectual First Lady suddenly becoming face of the Trump administration when it came to talking to the public about coronavirus safety??

That’s exactly what happened just ONE DAY LATER as the White House issued a press release late Wednesday announcing Melania would be taking on this leadership role in a series of PSAs intended to educate on “important ways Americans can protect themselves and those most at risk” during the spread of COVID-19.

This was DEFINITELY Chrissy’s doing.
Can you even remember the last time Melanie spoke directly to the nation like this??
But we have to say, honestly the White House could have picked a worse spokesperson. At least Melania is harmless? We can’t see being reassured in the slightest by conversion therapy endorser Mike Pence or Suicide Squad producer Steven Mnuchin.
And goodness knows Trump can’t do it himself — if they let him speak for a full minute he’d probably continue calling it the Chinese virus or something else super racist. Not to mention he already told his followers the illness was no big deal and all the fuss was just a Democrat “hoax” to make him look bad — which they TOTALLY still believe by the way.
We guess Trumpers will have to bend over backward now and believe Melania is just playing along, you know, just like the rest of the world, and as well as Surgeon General Jerome Adams, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Dr. Deborah Birx, who are also expected to make PSAs in the coming weeks.
