We LOVED it when Jennifer Aniston publicly stood up for herself, penning a powerful op-ed about how she’s not pregnant, and that women are unfairly scrutinized in the media.
And, always the one to chime in with a controversial opinion, Piers Morgan went and wrote a DailyMail column about it.

The 51-year-old did have a lot of nice things to say about the Friends alum, explaining that he agreed with her about being “fed up” with the recent stomach speculation, the insane amount of paparazzi attention she gets, and even that there were more important things going on in the world than her pregnancy rumors.
However, the journalist felt the actress was being a hypocrite while complaining about young girls being exposed to unattainable beauty standards, when she’s been Photoshopped on countless magazine covers, writing:
“Once you put your body up for lucrative personal gain, I’m afraid you have to accept a level of scrutiny and debate that comes with it. Though intimidatory or overly-intrusive paparazzi behaviour is never acceptable. BUT├óΓé¼┬ª I do think the least stars like Jennifer Aniston can do in return for the massive financial and career boost these fake covers bring them is to stop pretending it’s all everyone else’s fault that impressionable young girls struggle with their own beauty and body images as a result of seeing perfect photos of Jennifer Aniston.”
In fact, he even exclaimed that Miz Aniston should be taking some of the blame for shaping these young minds, adding:
“I commend Jennifer Aniston for finally going public with her concerns about all this stuff. She has a powerful voice and it will provoke important argument. But if she really wants to make a difference to this ugly process, she can start by getting a tiny bit uglier herself and letting us see what she REALLY looks like on a magazine cover.”
Just a tad harsh, don’t you think, Piers?
Well, Chrissy Teigen swooped in to defend the fierce female, firing back at the Britain’s Got Talent judge on Twitter, posting:
@piersmorgan saw your piece on Jennifer Aniston. Why do you ALWAYS take the road of being the piece of shit asshole?
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) July 13, 2016
@piersmorgan particularly with women and people of color. tell me it’s just for clicks?? Please tell me you aren’t TRULY this vile.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) July 13, 2016
@piersmorgan I think you aren’t this bad & have simply sold your soul for clicks. Which is even sadder than actually believing your garbage
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) July 13, 2016
Never one to back down from a famous feud, Piers quipped back:
Morning, Ms Teigen. You didn’t actually read it did you…? Try doing that before throwing another diva tantrum. https://t.co/rxCHbLT2lH
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 13, 2016
No, my little bundle of hypocrisy, YOU’RE using ME for clickbait.
Now hush before your sanctimonious spleen bursts. https://t.co/Cm4A3uKxXW
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 13, 2016
So, Chrissy sarcastically responded:
@piersmorgan you’re right. It’s ME who writes weekly columns demeaning and criticizing women and black people. All me. Goodbye, King troll.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) July 13, 2016
And, of course, Piers called her a troll right back. But he took it one step further by dragging the model’s husband, John Legend, into the fray:
Says the world’s biggest, lamest ‘celebrity’ troll.
Your husband’s a genius so I forgive your childish impudence. https://t.co/GFgmWpPyFt
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 13, 2016
The back and forth continued:
@piersmorgan my husband thinks you are one of the most misogynistic, condescending morons on the planet but thank you.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) July 13, 2016
Well he married you, so we all have our problems. https://t.co/Q9NmJeVjGT
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 13, 2016
@piersmorgan you just cannot stop proving my point.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) July 13, 2016
And at that point, the beauty apparently blocked the Brit, because he posted:
And… she’s blocked me.
Hahaha.
It was fun @chrissyteigen – come back when you can handle adult debate.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 13, 2016
But that didn’t stop him from commenting on the momma-of-one:
I fear Ms Teigen is a very spoilt little madam used to spewing bile without consequence & getting her own way. https://t.co/9D6ISAKCaM
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 13, 2016
Might have to do my next @DailyMail column on @chrissyteigen – just to REALLY annoy her.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 13, 2016
Yikes! Do U think he’ll actually make Chrissy the next subject of his controversial column?!
