This week, their love/hate relationship is all about the looooove!
Christina Aguilera has lent her vocals to Maroon 5’s next single, Moves Like Jagger. Xtina has already been into the studio with her fellow Voice coach Adam Levine and the duo will premiere the song on the June 21 episode of their show. Naturally, the song will be made available for download following their performance, so look forward to that.
Adam regales that it was “great” to work with Christina on the track and describes the jam as “quintessential Maroon 5 power pop, with an upbeat tune.” Xtina added that the collaboration was a “wonderful opportunity.”
Aw! So nice to see you both getting along so well! It’s interesting – this show is supposed to be about finding the next voice, but it seems like the old voices are the ones benefiting the most from it. Let’s just hope you guys remember all these “wonderful” opportunities you’ve been given when it is time to resign your contracts!
