KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell have been serving more than just high calorie combos over the years.
The fast food restaurant chain’s parent company, Yum! Brands, has provided $85 million worth of food to the 1 billion hungry people around the world through their World Hunger Relief campaign since 2009.
They’ve also enlisted Christina Aguilera to help raise funds for the cause! The pop superstar and Voice judge sang her hit song Beautiful on the Hollywood Boulevard “Walk of Fame” to raise awareness for the World Hunger Relief effort that benefits the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and other hunger relief agencies.
For Christina, the issue of hunger strikes close to home, sharing:
“As a mother, the idea that even one child could go to bed hungry is unacceptable and that├óΓé¼Γäós why I├óΓé¼Γäóm so passionate about fighting global hunger.
