This shouldn’t come as any kind of shocker to Charlie.
Earlier this month, the word going around was that it was VERY doubtful that Charlie Sheen would be asked to return to Two and a Half Men.
Now, Chuck Lorre is moving forward with plans for a Two and a Half Men “re-boot,” and sources say that both he and Warner Bros have ZERO intention of inviting Charlie to return.
Here are the details we’ve heard thus far about the potential Men reboot show:
–Jon Cryer would have a “significant role”
-A new character would be introduced (Woody Harrelson, Jeremy Piven, and Bob Saget have been mentioned as possibilities)
-Show would most likely return mid-season, as opposed to next fall
Nothing’s been 100% confirmed yet, but it definitely sounds like this is going to happen.
Charlie’s gonna have to SERIOUSLY up the ante with his apology/begging efforts if he wants back in! Good luck, MaSheen!
