Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber don’t understand what’s going on with their son, Presley Gerber.
As we reported, the supermodel’s son permanently branded his face with the word “MISUNDERSTOOD” on his upper right cheekbone earlier this month, drawing curiosity and worry from his social media following — and as it turns out from his fam!
While the 20-year-old and his girlfriend later claimed in an Instagram Live video that Presley’s famous parents “love[d]” the new ink, an Us Weekly source has claimed differently. According to this insider, Cindy and Rande have been “beside themselves” with worry as their son’s behavior grows increasingly alarming.

The source spilled:
“He’s been sent to a rehab-like program in the past. Presley’s hanging out with a group of people who’ve been negatively impacting him.”
That isn’t great news, seeing as the model has always been prone to a certain rebel-without-a-cause type of behavior. In January 2019, Presley was arrested in Los Angeles for driving under the influence.
Presley gave fans another taste of his wild life after getting backlash for his face tat. Earlier this month, he took to Instagram to share a video of himself getting trigger happy at the shooting range, insinuating in his caption that the clip was recorded some time ago.
He wrote:
“Innocent little me before all the horrid tattoos.. y’all know nothing #waketfup”
While some viewers simply laughed off the video, others seemed genuinely concerned for his wellbeing, leaving comments like:
“Seriously; on a kind hearted level- please talk to a professional- tattoos and guns are not the answer. Why are you so angry. What happens when you are understood?”
“Hope you are doing well and surrounded by love.”
“And for all of you saying such horrible comments for all you know he might be going thru something deeply personal. Don’t say stupid stuff to attack him mentally. What’s wrong with you people?!”
Of course, there was a large group of followers who applauded Presley’s attitude:
“Presley you kno who you are~ stay true to yourself~ there’s always gonna be critics & haters~ but kno that there’s true fans too that want the best for you!!
