Clifford The Big Red Dog Is Coming To The Big Red Screen!

It’s times like these that we are glad that Hollywood has completely run out of original ideas for movies. At least Tinseltown is picking some of our favorite children’s books to adapt!
Universal has announced plans to turn Clifford The Big Red Dog into a feature film. Yayyyy!
Since it’s a live-action/animation hybrid, we’re assuming it will be like Mighty Joe Young, but with a big red dog running around instead of a gorilla.
What more could you ask for?
OOO! We know! How about the company that did the visual effects for Rise of the Apes gets involved?!
Wait! We got a better idea. How about Andy Serkis plays Clifford?
Ugh! We’re getting our hopes up. Let’s just cross our fingers it doesn’t turn out like Marmaduke.
