You tell ’em, Dirty Harry!
Clint Eastwood signed a letter recently urging the US Supreme Court to overturn the seemingly unconstitutional ban on gay marriage in California.
The 86-year-old is a proud conservative Libertarian and outspoken critic of President Obama. If you don’t believe us, just ask the empty chair he flirted with at the Republican party’s convention last year.
But that didn’t stop him from siding with the Prez when it mattered most!
Clint set down his partisan pompoms and stood up for truth, justice, and the American way!
The High Plains Drifter and 100 Republicans went against the grain in their party and supported same-sex marriage by signing their name to a brief opposing Proposition 8, which forbids by law any marriages except those between a man and a woman.
The Supreme Court will hear Prop 8 arguments on March 26 and we’re confident they will look deep inside their hearts and do what they know is right.
Thank you, Clint, Mr. President, and everyone else who is fighting hard for marriage equality!
Hopefully, soon, all loving couples will know the joys and blessings of marriage!
