Cobra Kai actress Alicia Hannah-Kim is speaking out after her bizarre, violent encounter with a co-star.
Last week, news broke that Martin Kove was kicked out of a fan convention in Washington State after BITING Alicia in a scary and totally inexplicable moment. She filed a report with the Puyallup Police Department, but ultimately did not press charges. The 78-year-old Karate Kid villain subsequently issued a statement apologizing and swearing it would never happen again… But the debacle isn’t quite yet settled.

On Sunday, Alicia took to Instagram to address the situation. In a selfie video, she explained:
“This was a serious incident. No one wants to be attacked at work or anywhere really. And I don’t think anybody would think this is normal or warranted or acceptable.”
The Australian actress continued:
“I just think that when you are confronted with something like this, it’s good to stand up for yourself. It’s an important choice to make. I think it’s the good choice to make. I also want to express that this does not represent my experience with the show at large. I think everybody can tell that it’s a really good vibe and a great cast. And everybody else is delightful.”

Alicia went on to encourage fans to continue loving the show:
“I don’t want this to affect your love for the show. Feel free to love on it as hard as you want.”
