Colin Firth's Wife Livia Giuggioli Admits To Past Affair With Man Now Reportedly Stalking Her

Colin Firth‘s wife Livia Giuggioli is dealing with an alleged stalker — an Italian man who is now officially being investigated by authorities in that country.
And to add to the matter, Livia has admitted the stalker is a man she previously had been involved with during a trial separation several years ago from Firth.

The couple’s rep addressed the wild situation on Friday, confirming Livia had been involved with Marco Brancaccia — the same man Italian authorities are now investigating for stalking and harassing Giuggioli.
The rep explained exactly how it went down during a separation between Colin and Livia (below):

“A few years ago Colin and Livia privately made the decision to separate. During that time Livia briefly became involved with former friend Mr Brancaccia. The Firths have since reunited. Subsequently, Mr Brancaccia carried out a frightening campaign of harassment over several months, much of which is documented. As a consequence of his stalking, threats and refusal to desist, the legal complaint was lodged with the Italian authorities.”

However, Brancaccia seriously disputes that description of events, telling the media his ‘stalking’ has actually been just a couple of WhatsApp messages and an email to Firth once the affair ended at some point in 2016.

Brancaccia said (below):

“We were romantically involved, she wanted to leave Colin for me … I wrote an email to Colin about my relationship with Livia, which I now regret sending, and she filed a complaint against me for stalking out of fear that I could go public with what she had revealed to me about her marriage and work. In a year she sent me hundreds of messages of love, photos and videos, even a diary.”

Hmmm…
For what it’s worth, even through that trial separation, Firth and Giuggioli (who is a producer in Italy) have been together since tying the knot back in 1997.
They have two children together, as well as an older son from Firth’s previous marriage.
No new comment from Firth’s rep after Brancaccia’s rebuttal, but we’ll keep you updated as more information is revealed.
