Man Pretends To Be In A Coma For TWO Years To Avoid Court! This Is How He Conned Everyone!

Alan Knight‘s two year tale of deception has left us absolutely stunned!
The 47-year-old of South Wales spent two years pretending to be a quadriplegic AND in a coma while under investigation for fraud against his elderly neighbor.
Police suspected and ultimately charged Knight with conning $64,000 from an elderly neighbor with Alzheimer’s disease. To make matters worse, Knight was callous enough to use the vulnerable man’s life savings for vacations and new cars.

To avoid court hearings for the charges, Knight (along with his knowing wife), told investigators he snapped his neck falling backwards as he pulled down a garage door, an injury he claimed left him with coma inducing seizures.
Knights dubious ruse fell apart when police tracked his credit card activity and discovered surveillance camera footage of him walking and driving.
The police explained:

“He had constantly avoided court for two years, costing police, the NHS and the court system thousands of pounds.”

Ugh, what a maddening story!
The officer added:

“Attempts to make progress have been thwarted by Mr Knight pretending to be ill. Although a very accomplished and determined actor, he is nothing in like the condition he claims to be, and the conditions he claims to be suffering from are simply non-existent.”

Hmmm, maybe Knight has a future in the acting biz! Can you shoot movies from prison?
According to court docs, Knight is due to be sentenced November 7th and we hope he is held accountable for the crimes he’s committed. Not only is stealing an reprehensible offense, but so is faking such a serious condition!
