Standup comic Robert Schimmel, who was a frequent guest on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Howard Stern‘s radio show passed away Friday evening after suffering serious injuries in a car accident.
Schimmel was a passenger in a car driven by his 19-year-old daughter Aliyah Schimmel. The vehicle the two were riding in rolled on to the side of the freeway after Aliyah swerved to avoid another car.
Schimmel’s spokesman Howard Bragman says that Aliyah is hospitalized and in stable condition.
Robert was 60-years-old.
So sad.
