[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]
A content creator in New Hampshire has been arrested in the city of Keene after an anonymous tip to local cops called her out for allegedly “contaminating” food products at a local grocery store.
Late last week, the Keene Police Department issued a press release confirming they had arrested a 23-year-old woman named Kelli Tedford (pictured in her mugshot, above). In the press release, they call Tedford an “online content creator,” and revealed that she was arrested on charges of criminal mischief — which is a class B felony.
Okay, so, a content creator gets arrested for criminal mischief. Big deal, right? Weird, a little unsettling, but just another crazy day. Sure. Well, here’s what makes this story different, and unbelievably awful: Tedford is accused of PEEING ON ITEMS FOR SALE ON GROCERY STORE SHELVES!!!! Yes, really!!

Per TooFab, which reached out to the Keene PD and confirmed the allegations on Tuesday morning, Tedford is accused of both urinating directly onto items, as well as applying urine to items in the grocery store in question using what cops are calling other “various methods.”
This whole situation started back on Valentine’s Day, when an anonymous caller phoned in a tip to the Keene PD. In that phone call, per a press release from the department, the tipster claimed Tedford had been posting “disturbing videos to an internet site” that showed “herself contaminating items in a local business with her urine.”
Cops immediately reached out to the grocery store in question, the Monadnock Food Co-Op. Officials at the company reviewed security camera footage from inside the store and promptly removed all the affected products from the shelves. They also issued an immediate recall on any items that might have been sold before anybody realized what had happened.
In their recall notice, the grocery store stated:
“We were informed by the Keene Police Department of an incident on February 10 where an individual attempted to contaminate products in our store with their urine. Upon notification from law enforcement, we immediately reviewed store video, identified affected products, removed them from our shelves and sanitized all surfaces. We also reached out to members who purchased at-risk products. No fresh produce, meat, seafood, prepared foods or refrigerated products were affected.”
According to the Keene Health Department, the affected items subject to recall include: organic red quinoa, organic white quinoa, organic tri-color quinoa, organic cornmeal, organic polenta, organic coconut shreds, and raw walnuts.
The store also confirmed that “no ongoing risks remain” after the incident, and the public can go on about their business. They stated:
“While this is a highly unusual incident, we have strict food safety protocols and recall procedures in place. We are reviewing our security measures and procedures to further safeguard our store and customers.”
In total, cops in Keene say the store sustained more than $1,500 in financial losses after adding up “destroyed merchandise and cleaning costs.”

And as if that’s not enough to make your stomach turn over, cops now believe Tedford may have been doing this in Keene-area grocery stores for a LONG TIME — possibly for as long as four years!!! During their investigation, cops say they found additional videos recorded by Tedford which allegedly show similar prior behavior:
“At this time, it appears likely that similar historic incidents occurred in Keene and surrounding communities where Tedford contaminated items and/or surfaces with urine, as several videos appear to be recorded as early as 2021.”
WHAT?!?!
Police say additional charges against the content creator “are possible” as their investigation continues. In the meantime, Tedford was booked into jail, processed, and then released on her own recognizance.
Her arraignment is scheduled for April 7, per TooFab.
All we can say is, uh, thank goodness she got caught… eventually…
