Cory Monteith Was Spotted Drinking Again Days Before His Death

Oh no! Did Cory Monteith fall off the wagon?

The late Glee star checked into his hotel in Vancouver on July 6th- just a week before his death.

According to eyewitnesses, that same day Cory and some friends enjoyed a drink or two at a local coffee house.

Sources say Cory himself drank three beers over the hours that they were there. Nothing remotely excessive, and from all accounts he and his friends remained nice and polite.

This hardly sounds like the kind of binge drinking a former addict should fear, but at the same time, we thought he was trying to stay sober.

Could this have been the first step in a downward slide?
