At this point there’s no point in denying there has been a rift between Prince Harry and Prince William — the only question is how bad is it now?
We heard from a People source this week the brothers had left one another amid Megxit on rather poor terms — and since Harry was moving to a country an ocean away, that wasn’t a good sign for their mending in the future.

However, a Royal source speaking to Entertainment Tonight has more hope for the return of the old bond between the Dukes of Sussex and Cambridge.
The insider says the Princes are “talking more and they’re on better footing” now that they’ve been separated:
“The brothers don’t hate each other as has been reported… they do talk.”
We never thought they hated one another. They are brothers after all and will always have that love. The question is, how badly did they damage their friendship?
The new source says despite the problems, they have been on the mend for some time, starting with what looked like an increase in the rift, ironically — the separation of the households:
“The separate households that were created improved the relationship so they weren’t having to talk about business. The brothers have different futures with very important institutional roles and that created a complicated relationship. Once the households separated, things improved.”
Hmm. And now they’re improving more with the brothers living on different continents? Sounds as if all one needs to do is jet off to the moon, and they’ll have no further squabbles! LOLz!
The source does think ultimately Megxit has helped the relations, however that’s not the whole story. The insider adds:
“But that’s not to say William and other members of the family weren’t disappointed when Harry and Meghan announced they were no longer choosing to be senior royal members.”
The source says among the family there was “an initial feeling in the family of being blindsided when [they] released their proposal publicly after they were asked to hold off.” However, they worked it out because “ultimately everyone wanted Harry and Meghan to be happy.”

Perhaps that’s why even Queen Elizabeth now seems to be showing her support?
As for reports the feud started with William warning Harry about rushing into his relationship with Meghan Markle, the source did seem to imply that was in line with their relationship:
“William has always expressed concern for Harry. Since they were children, William has always watched out for his younger brother.”
Fortunately that dynamic continues to this day, and Will still wants only what’s best for Harry.
Is that moving to Hollywood?? Guess we may find out soon!
