On Tuesday, Courteney Cox and Will Arnett were spotted grabbing a bite to eat together at The Palm in Beverly Hills, and naturally everyone figured they were taking their friendship to the next level!
But sadly, Perezcious readers, that dinner date was only a platonic one, because a source said that actors are “just friends.”
We guess that makes sense. After all, the two have been close for quite a while.
But tt seems the media just really wants the Cougar Town alum to find love, now that she and former fiancé Johnny McDaid have called off their engagement.

First, romance rumors ran rampant after sources claimed the 51-year-old and her Friends costar Matthew Perry were “hooking up,” which caused fans of the show to go crazy thinking Monica and Chandler were together off-screen too.
They weren’t.
And this time, reports were also quick to assume the brunette beauty and the Arrested Development star were seeing each other.
Can you blame them, though?
We want the newly-single stunner to be happy once and for all! And both of these guys would have been a great catch, TBH.
However, it seems these relationships aren’t romantic at all.
