Hooray for reading!
When Courtney Robertson emerged victorious on the 16th season of The Bachelor, she mistakenly expected a fabulous future filled with nothing but ice cream cones and butterflies!
According to her new tell-all, however, the transition from reality TV to actual reality was quite jarring!
She isn’t necessarily ungrateful for her brush with stardom, she just thinks the show is responsible for many of her life’s problems!
Courtney admitted:
“Going on The Bachelor was the most amazing opportunity I’ve ever had but I did not have a fairy tale ending! The girls hated me, my modeling career was destroyed and Ben and I had a tumultuous 11-month relationship that ultimately imploded. There are two sides to every story.”
She makes a solid point!!! There are two sides to every story! Well, except in Pulp Fiction! There were like five there!
As sad as Courtney is about being hated, the supposed death of her modeling career, and possibly also her failed engagement to Ben Flajnik, writing this book has given her new perspective!!!
Which is way better than carpal tunnel syndrome!
She added:
“I wanted a chance to talk about what went down from my perspective, because I think there are a lot of misconceptions out there about me. Writing the book has been very cathartic — I’ve definitely learned a lot about myself and love!” she said. “I think fans of the show are going to love it, it’s totally juicy and hilarious.”
We don’t have a release date yet, but Courtney’s book will supposedly be titled I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain!
Ooh! That does sound juicy!
