Jonathan Rhys Meyers is in trouble – again!
The 31-yer-old Tudors star was detained by French police this past Saturday after he allegedly assaulted an airport employee.
The French press is reporting Meyers was drunk during the incident, and was placed in custody for several hours after he punched the employee.
Apparently it all went down when an airport cafe bartender refused to sell a drink to Meyers, who already appeared drunk to him.
That led to a shouting match between Meyers and the bar manager and when another employee tried to separate the two, Meyers punched him.
Meyers will now need to return to France and appear in court this September for charges of “voluntary violence, contempt, issuing death threats and assault.”
Time to go back to rehab (again) and get some help!
